7/8/04 Klix and Far Beyond.
Prize giving today and pack up. I got my flight in a Wilga at last, the comp directors wouldn’t let us fly in them during the comp. Freda the tow pilot took me for a flight so I got Matthias and Gunnar to sit in the back as well. Matt and Gunnar had been helping crew for us for the latter part of the competition. Anyway, we flew over to Bautzen and had a look from the air. The Wilga is a workmanlike piece of equipment, I really like it, in an ugly sort of way. While more complex than a Pawnee and has some visibility draw backs, I think the Wilga would be more comfortable after a long days flying. D-EWBN 0.4 hours.
